KEEN DESIRE + APPROPRIATE EFFORTS = SUCCESS

I (Dr. P.L. Sharma) came into existence on this earth on 9th October 1964 in a village known as MEHRAN. It is situated on the top of one of the seven Dhars of Distt. Bilaspur (H.P.) which is called as Tiun Dhar. My Village is 20 km away from Distt. Head Quarter Bilaspur towards Kandrour. I passed all the classes from 1st to 10th class from Govt. High School Chalehli (presentrly Sr. Sec. School) which is  nearly 6 km from my village. After Matric my fate forced me to do Junior  Basic Teacher (JBT) Training from Nahan Distt. Sirmour (H.P.). Subsequently I joined as JBT Teacher and served for eleven years in only one school  known as Govt. Primary school Palog. During the period of this school I got married with Mrs. Rekha Sharma, I lost my son master Agam Sharma of three years, I learnt Astrology, I had the complete responsibility to run the SBSM High School in the same place. I was initiated by H.H. Manav Dayal Dr. I.C Sharma Ex-Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, USA].

 The biggest thing, which the  Almighty power helped me to do is that I passed all the four block of higher education privately/Distance Education Mode along with my Govt regular job responsibilities i.e.graduation from HPU, Post graduation in Maths from Meerut University, Meerut, M.Phil in Maths from   H.P.U. Shimla and the research work of Ph.D in Maths from HPU Shimla. I was blessed with son master Ish Kumar Sharma (presently in 10th standard, July 2009), purchased one plot in the heart of city Bilaspur. I served in Govt. Senior Secondary School Ghumarwin as Lecturer in Maths for which I was selected through Himachal Public Service Commission (HPSC) Shimla and in this duration many students were selected for engineering and some of them are serving as Class I Gazzeted Officer. During this period, I submitted my Ph.D. thesis and completed successfully, I built up my own house in Bilaspur city as H.No. 51, Roura Sector 2 Bilaspur (H.P.), I was blessed with second son master Arun Sharma (presently in 8th standard , July 2009). After completion of three years teaching in Govt Sr.SS Ghumarwin, the Alimighty Power blessed me to get selected as lecturer in Maths in college cadre again through Himachal Public Service Commission (HPSC) Shimla. I got the chance to serve in Govt. College Rampur, Govt. P.G. College Bilaspur, Govt. College Sarkaghat and  in Govt. P.G. College Bilaspur (H.P.) till 23rd Feb 2010. In this period my major achievements were :-

 I organised a Bhagwat Katha of seven days by Pt. Surya Narayan Bhatt of Ujjain Madhya Pradesh. I got the chance to travel in the religious places of the country from North (Badrinath)-East( Ganga Sagar, Jagnath Puri, Kolkata)-South (Rameshwar, Kanyakumari)-West (Dwarika). I bought Santro car and learnt the driving. Extended and completed the house construction. I did CIC,MCA from IGNOU in exact prescibed duration of three years. I visited Nepal (Kathmandu) with my family and parents. I did Refresher course in Maths from Kerala University Kerala. I passed Deptt Exam conducted by HIPA. Successfully guided five M.Phil students in mathematics. I have written four books in the following sequence : (a) IIT-JEE Mathematics (b)AIEEE Mathematics (c) Applied Mathematics I for engineering (d)Applied Mathematics II for engineering.  I have been relieved from Govt. College Bilaspur on 23rd Feb. 2010 to join in  Mathematics Department of Himachal Pradesh University after  completing twelve  years of teaching Mathematics in colleges. I got the honour to have my students in different discipline like Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Lectrurers in schools and colleges, Administrator, Pilot and Scientist. Also my students in two digits are serving in abroad.

With effect from 24th Feb. 2010 I am working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics Himachal Pradesh University Shimla-5.
